Home Game vs LPA

I apologize for being late on this post, but there were some issues in securing a ref. As it stands now, we do not have a ref for our game, but Pip (the LPA coach) who is a qualified ref, has graciously offered to ref for us. I expect everyone to treat him the same as any other ref, or better.

We will be playing at Lake Island Park (same place as practice) @ 4:00 pm. Field crew please be there by 2:30 pm, everyone else by 3:00 pm.

LPA is a talented, experienced team with a deep bench. We will need to be aggressive on the field and make sure our basics are solid; passing, tackling, & rucking. Start getting your heads into the game. Think about making the perfect pass, the steps and motions involved, putting the ball into your teammates’ hands. Think about making the perfect tackle; getting low, making body contact & wrapping. Think about when you get tackled; drive, go to ground, place the ball back. Think about the perfect ruck; entering through the gate, stepping over the ball, getting low, & setting the ruck.

Think about these things now before the game, run through them in your head one step at a time. In the game they need to be instant reactions to what's going on, on the field, preformed flawlessly and with aggression.
